Fine food, friendly service and a beautiful view

Very good food with an equally good price/performance ratio. The service was extremely courteous and friendly. The location by the small forest lake invites you to linger and there is a beautiful view from the winter garden. We were here with the caravan and really enjoyed the evenings.

Voucher was not redeemed

The hotel has decided that stays of several days will be auctioned off via an internet platform. We bought one of these vouchers, and now Hotel Neunbrunnen, who had a contract with the internet platform, says - "this is not binding for the hotel" - "they were just unlucky." It's a shame how paid vouchers are treated.

Wonderful hotel and location

Beautiful family fun hotel, fabulous quiet location overlooking a small lake, stocked with carp and trout. The daughter Anica, works so hard and efficiently to make sure all guests are well looked after. Great bar, and lovely food in the restaurant.
Lovely walking area and only 20 minutes from Zell am See.
Highly recommend

How many ways can you say Outstanding

Stayed at the hotel during our visit to family in Germany. We can only find great things to say about the place, ownership and staff. On arrival we were explained the details of the full pension (all inclusive) program and were ask numerous times if there were any questions concerning how things worked. My family all speak German. My German is very limited but she ask numerous times if I was understanding everything as she " speaks rapidly". Breakfast buffet was way beyond the typical continental breakfast. It included a variety of cold cuts and cheeses, cereal, boiled eggs, numerous choices of bread and rolls, jams and even individual serving packs of liverwurst (my personal downfall) and more. Lunch was available to be made from the breakfast buffet if you would not be at the hotel during the lunch time. Dinner was a 4 course meal consisting of a daily soup (fresh made), salad buffet which was freshened daily, choice of 3 main courses of which one was vegetarian, and dessert. Every meal was delectable. Well prepared. Properly plated and served. Coffee, Tea, Beer, Red and White table wine and juice was available from breakfast at 0730 throughout the day until closing at 2100 hrs.
My German relatives and I fully, without hesitation, recommend staying here.
As an added bonus, the Owner named 5 languages he fluently speaks. They include German, English, French, Italian and another I cannot recall.

Highly recommended

We were staying in early June a few kilometres away in an area where there is relatively little choice for eating in the evening if you don’t want to travel a long way and were recommended this family-run hotel. We used it for dinner every evening of the week we were so impressed. The menu was of a good size and varied so eating for a week was a real adventure into the better end of Austrian domestic cuisine. The portions were huge and the preparation impeccable – don’t be frightened to ask for a half portion as no-one will take offence. The wines on offer were also reasonably diverse. The prices were reasonable in the extreme especially when you regard the portion sizes. The staff members were all friendly and helpful and gladly suffered and appreciated our attempts to speak to them in bad German. The view of the Lake behind the hotel was a great bonus, making for a really restful experience. A great find.
