Not recommended

Let's start with the only good thing: the location is well central and the beds are comfortable. Fin.
The hostel is very come unless. It lacks a lot of investment and care at the building and structural level. Old-fashioned and poor care. Toilets, a total disaster. There wasn’t even toilet paper 80% of the time and in the most “private” bathroom, the shower broken.
The walls and ceilings are cardboard. You're in the room and you can't sleep off the noise that makes on the ceiling every step of the people upstairs. The walls the same, anyone walking down the aisle is heard and very loud.
The boys who tend the hostel also disastrous. A very very young one who could tell he had no idea about anything. I asked him something very basic about one of the most common trekking trails and he looked at me as if I asked him quantum physics. Another, a skinny guy who looks like he was on a birthday all the time and not working, screaming in the morning and anyone.
The kitchen, dirty.
I was in same price hostels in other cities and they were much better.
Not recommended.

Worse than Horrible

I went to this hostel with a large group of people and the experience was terrible for all of us. The place is ugly, poorly organized and the hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. There is a strange smell of old wood throughout the place. The rooms are noisy: you can hear every step people take and the noises coming from the bathrooms. These, in turn, are poorly maintained, disgusting and have an unpleasant smell. I believe that a hostel, by definition, should be simple and accessible, but this should not mean poor quality services.
